New Children's Dance Classes come to Pasadena

I am so excited to announce that beginning in May there will be a new series of dance classes available for your little one at the First Church of the Nazarene of Pasadena.

Have you searched for a dance class for your preschooler that is exciting and keeps their attention? Or, have you wanted to find a fun movement class for you and your toddler to do together that can get them excited about music and dancing? Miss Amie's "Twinkle Toes" classes will do just that.

On May 12th two new classes will begin:

Preschool Ballet Class:

A Pre-ballet class for preschool aged children (ages 3-5) that will teach them the joy of dancing through a playful yet structured class. The class is designed to be a combination of dance discipline and creative movement, in an encouraging environment. Students will learn basic ballet steps as well as terminology, develop core motor skills, and gain coordination, discipline and creativity. The class will be instructed to a wide variety of classic song selections and students will begin to learn ballet terminology.

Mommy & Me Creative Movement Class:

An exciting beginning dance class for young children (ages 2-3) that will teach them the basics of dance movement and musicality. The class requires parent participation and is designed to engage students and parents in activities that encourage the development of coordination, balance, recognition of musical rhythms, counting, timing, and self-confidence. The class will be instructed to a variety of popular and upbeat children's songs.

Both classes will be held on Thursdays in the Paz Naz Gymnasium Yoga Room:

Mommy & Me - Thursdays at 3:15pm

Preschool Ballet - Thursdays at 4:00pm
